The Parlotones forthcoming album titled “Journey through the shadows” will be used to highlight important campaigns such as the Africa UNiTE Campaign and other social issues that desperately need to be brought out of the shadows and into the light.
“UN Women, Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Island is excited with the collaboration and partnership with the Parlotones to participate in the Africa UNiTE Kilimanjaro Climb from 5-9 March under the theme “Speak Out – Climb UP” to raise awareness on issues of violence against women and girls. “The Parlotones could become huge here. Killers huge, Muse huge, Coldplay huge.”
Boston Herald
"When I hear an album this good, I want to tell as many people as I can. It sounds silly, but it kind of hurts to think of an album this good, not reaching the widest audience possible. I hope with this review, I further that reach just a little more."
The Parlotones brand of rock is epic and beautiful. It's cinematic without going overboard, theatrical without pretension. Having received countless comparisons to Coldplay and Radiohead (two bands of the moment on which everything seems to be gauged), I have to respectfully disagree. The Parlotones are a better band.”
The Parlotones land on the US music scene with powerful vocals, masterful lyrics and a variety of musical sounds all in one. If you are looking for an album that will keep you hooked from beginning to end, then this is the one for you.
